In times of disasters FRIEND mobilizes resources and provides assistance that is based on the needs of the communities in order to help rebuild the capacity of the communities in need..

The initial response is aimed at providing humanitarian assistance at the earliest to those affected by the crisis. This is followed by rehabilitation needs in terms of establishing livelihood schemes and housing improvements.

FRIEND has successfully carried this out by working in partnership with Donors and Corporate organisations.
