3rd year in running this year’s REALprogram started with an orientation event on the 2nd May, 2008. The Chief Guest for the occasion was renowned local rugby hero Villiame Satala, who gave a motivational speech to the participants’ of this year’s program. Satala talked about his experiences saying that he was not always “the stretcher” as everyone sees and thinks of him today and shared that life was not always as good for him. He also had his fair share of troubles; nevertheless he was determined to make a change in his life. The sharing of his personal life was appreciated by all especially the 2008 REAL program participants who listened with much interest and concentration.
